Blog #3 - ABC (Flowers for Algernon)

Algernon: Algernon is the small lab rat that Charlie grows closer too to find out more about the experiment.
Bakery: The bakery is where Charlie worked at as maintenance.
Charlie: Charlie is the main character, a mentally ill adult who goes through an experiment that supposedly makes him smart.
Donner: Mr. Donner is the owner of the bakery that Charlie works at.
Experiment: The Strauss experiment is the experiment Charlie was suggested for to make him smarter because Charlie always had a motivation to learn.
Fay: Fay was a girl Charlie hooked up with when he was confused about him and Alice.
Gimpy: Gimpy is one of Charlie's coworker who Charlie witnessed him steal bread at the bakery and started developing feelings of guilt.
Hilda: Hilda is a nurse at the warren home who helped Charlie spell the words "Progress Report" correctly.
Independence: Charlie gains independence after he becomes smarter and no longer needs others to take care of himself.
Job: Charlie's job was at a bakery but he lost it after not showing up for work anymore due to the experiment.
Kinnian: Alice Kinnian was Charlie's literature teacher who Charlie ended up falling in love with her.
Laboratory: L stands for the laboratory where the story is often taken place in.
Matt: M stands for Matt Gordon who is Charlie's father and he works at a barber shop.
Nemur: Nemur worked with Strauss for the experiment to make Charlie smarter.
Oversensitive: After the experiment Charlie starts to feel certain emotions including oversensitivity.
Progress Report: Charlie was assigned to write progress reports as a self analysis before and after the experiment.

Rorschach inkblot test: Charlie did the Rorschach inkblot test before and after his surgery and there was a huge difference between what he thought before and after.
Strauss: Strauss is a doctor that experimented on Charlie.
Temporary: T is how Charlie realizes that his intelligence may end up being temporary.
Uncle Herman: Uncle Herman was Charlie's uncle who stood up against bullies for Charlie when he was younger.
Valentine: One of Charlie's childhood memories was when he gave a valentine to his crush and
Warren home: The Warren home was the home Charlie used to live in before he became smarter.
